SAD DAY

22MAY08. THURSDAY. Laundry Day. Another day in the life-cycle of Afghanistan. Weather is Hot and getting Hotter. Nights are a little cooler. But not miserable like the daytime. Received some sad news from one of Terri’s college friends - Cheryl. Seems her 21yr old boy fell from his college dorm balcony and is not expected to make it. So, everyone a little sadder for their family. Terri and I were just discussing how fragile our lives are and how quickly they can be taken away at any day…. Our hearts and prayers do go out to Cheryl. Doug
