1MAY08. WEDNESDAY. Well, just got off the phone with my lovely bride Terri. Luckily, Ryan’s broken clavicle is just a simple fracture. Happily, the doctor is gonna let the thing mend on it’s own. So, Ryan’s off to receive a fine Florida education. Kristen also got checked for mono. Fortunately, she tested negative for this dreaded kissing-disease. Happily, the doctor gave her some antibiotics and she’s off and running. Lastly, Shannon’s friend called to share a driving experience. Seems she and Shannon both have their driving licenses. The streets will never be the same…. So, all is right in the world.

Did get another inspirational note from a student in the UWF Leadership class. It starts. Mr Doug Ramsdell, I wish I could meet you as I have heard so many good things about you and your involvement to Dr Dupre’s leadership class. My name is Erica L. I am a senior student – athlete here at UWF. I will graduate in May 2008 with a degree in Advertising and a minor in Art. I have recently been offered the GA position for the assistant athletic director and will receive my Masters in Leadership Communication. It is people like you who influence me to be better. Sincerely, Erica L.

Well, Thanks Erica. I’m honored. Who wouldn’t be touched after a wonderful note such as this? Doug
