7FEB07 Wednesday. Got up at 5:30AM this morning to about 1.5 inches of Snow. Great. Plan for the day: Get to my buddies house and inquire as to when our Flight to Afghanistan will be. Well, the majority of schools were delayed opening for two hours today. Called the Navy Travel Office at 09:30AM. Phone Rang endlessly. Called again at 10:00AM, Same thing. Called at 10:30AM. Finally a voice on the other end. Asked for the woman handling our travel arrangements. She Called in Sick Today. Well, the Wait Continues. Grabbed a great lunch. Went to the Neighborhood Gym. Got in a Great Workout. Had a Wonderful Chicken Casserole Dinner. Played with their Kids a Little. Then, went back to the Hotel. Will Update accordingly.
