10MAR07. Saturday. What’s that Noise? Just the sound of aircraft in the distance. Not one hammer, saw, or Seebee in sight. They must be working on the Admiral’s Hootch at the moment. Not gonna miss that ruckus. But, I’m sure it will pick up again quickly. Maybe in a few minutes, hours, or days. Got up a little early to talk with the Navy folks in New Orleans. Wanted to clear-up a few things (especially since I’m not there). Did manage to have a decent chat with the Officer in Charge (OIC). Was quite taken aback by his commitment to ensure all my service-records are straight (in my absence). That assurance was quite refreshing. Unfortunately, we’ll have to wait and see…..Well, happy Saturday. Hopefully each and everyone of you are enjoying the day to the fullest. Was reading an article from my Inshore Fisherman Magazine. My mind wandered a bit….Will update again. Doug
